There is nothing we like more than transforming gardens especially when our clients say that they cannot use the area due to it being uneven, messy and not safe. Our clients in Basildon, Essex loved the look of sandstone paving slabs and wanted something really modern so they went for kandla grey sandstone paving slabs.
The unused garden was dug up to 7 inches. A 5 inch base was laid using type 1 mot. This was laid on a full 4 and 1 mortar bed for longetivity. The sandstone slabs were then laid on top of this. The new patio looked amazing.
